Who we are

AB Cesis Bankas, registered in Lithuania, with its registered office at Gedimino pr. 20, Vilnius, LT-01103, Lithuania.

Opening an account

We are required to verify your identity and to understand the source of the funds you deposit with us. We may decline an application without giving a reason, and we may ask for further information at any point in the relationship.

An account is opened only once we confirm it in writing. Submitting an application does not create an account or any obligation on our part.

Payments

Payments out of the bank are reviewed by us before they are released. We may decline or delay a payment where we have concerns about it, and we will tell you when we do.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the payee details you give us. A payment sent to details you supplied cannot always be recovered.

Fees and interest

Our fee schedule is provided at introduction and forms part of these terms. Interest rates on credit balances are shown on your account and may change; we will give notice before a reduction takes effect.

Restricting an account

We may restrict access to an account where we are required to do so, where we suspect fraud, or while we complete a review. A restricted account can still be viewed. We will tell you the reason unless we are prohibited from doing so.

Closing an account

You may close an account at any time once its balance is zero and no payments are outstanding. We may close an account by giving you two months' notice, or immediately where we are required to.

Liability

We are responsible for carrying out your instructions correctly. We are not responsible for losses arising from details you gave us incorrectly, or from your disclosing your security credentials to someone else.
